  My family moved to Peoria in 1988 and I needed an automotive shop that was a passionate about caring for my vehicles as I was. The neighbor behind me told me to go to Pete Nelson's Automotive. We have been there ever since. The other thing I would mention is my family doesn't trade cars often. Joe took care of a Jeep Wrangler that had 220,000 miles, a Jeep Cherokee had almost 300,000 miles, a Saturn that had a little over 200,000 miles, and I still own a 1995 Dodge Dakota that I drive every day. The point being is they do proper maintenance on customer's vehicles, fluids, brakes, shocks, batteries, tires, alternators and so on. I never had to have any major engine or transmission work on any of my vehicles which I attribute to quality maintenance. They quote a price before they start the work, and maybe once in over 20 years additional work was needed. I would recommend Pete Nelson's to anyone.
